Baseball is back! And so is poetry! :)

I hope everyone had a fantastic Spring break. I took a few road trips, which gave me a lot of time to read Hunger Games and Going Bovine- two very interesting (and very strange) stories. I love them both!
Now that we're back at JFS, we are celebrating National Poetry Month with a super-cool poetry display. Middle school madness, sadness and sorrow, and tales of fire, friendship, and first loves are just some of the themes you'll find in these poetry collections.
I'm also pretty excited about the return of baseball (GO PHILS!). Sports fans might want to stop by and check out Matt Christopher, our April author of the month. He has written many stories about all kinds of sports, from soccer to snowboarding to hockey.
