Think Spring!

With the first day of Spring right around the corner, the library media center staff has been busy preparing for the last few months of school.

Please be sure to check out the bulletin board outside the library media center. We have added new pictures of the students in Mr. Phinney's 8th grade social studies classes who dressed up for their 1920's Meet-and-Greet and a breakdown (again with pictures) of a slavery station project we did with Mrs. Loew's 7th grade social studies students.

Our author of the month is Sharon Creech and the theme, Native American stories (these include realistic, historical, and fantasy fiction).

I am currently reading The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney, a recommendation from Miss Engle. Usually I am the one persuading her to read in the fantasy genre, but Miss Engle got to this one first and she loved it! So far, so good for me. I'll definitely be ready to booktalk this one for Mr. Giacche's students in a week or so.
