I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! I spent a lot of time watching the Olympics (love that freestyle skiing!). We have some books about the history of the Olympics here in the library; The Games of '36 looks very cool. Stop by and check them out!
I did have some time to finish reading Swallowing Stones by Joyce Macdonald. It's a very interesting book that follows two teenagers' struggles after a tragedy. Jenna is a victim and Michael is the one who caused it. As Jenna gets closer to learning the truth, Michael is struggling to keep his secret. Thanks to Mrs. Kish for recommending this one- loved it!
